Es altamente conformable, con absorci\u00f3n vertical y semipermeable, lo que evita la maceraci\u00f3n de la piel circundante. Su capa superior transparente permite identificar f\u00e1cilmente el nivel de saturaci\u00f3n del ap\u00f3sito y ayuda a reducir el exudado y el olor. La espuma est\u00e1 compuesta por una pel\u00edcula de poliuretano semipermeable, espuma de poliuretano con tiras absorbentes hotmelt (3+\/-0,5mm), malla de acetato con DACC (tecnolog\u00eda Sorbact\u00ae) y bordes adhesivos siliconados (420-460g\/m2), adem\u00e1s de una l\u00e1mina transparente de protecci\u00f3n. La superficie de contacto con la herida es aglutinante bacteriana gracias al DACC, un \u00e1cido graso hidr\u00f3fobo que atrapa bacterias. Est\u00e1 esterilizada por \u00f3xido de etileno y debe almacenarse bajo 25\u00baC, protegiendo de la luz solar directa. Se recomienda para heridas contaminadas, colonizadas o con riesgo de colonizaci\u00f3n, con moderado a alto exudado, incluyendo heridas cr\u00f3nicas (\u00falceras venosas, arteriales, diab\u00e9ticas, por presi\u00f3n), heridas dehiscentes postoperatorias y traumatol\u00f3gicas. No debe ser cortado ni usado con ung\u00fcentos o pomadas que interfieran con su acci\u00f3n antimicrobiana.
