Cutimed\u00ae Siltec Sorbact\u00ae es una espuma trilaminar antimicrobiana altamente absorbente, indicada para heridas con colonizaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica a baja o riesgo de colonizaci\u00f3n. Cuenta con una capa superior transparente que permite identificar f\u00e1cilmente el nivel de saturaci\u00f3n del ap\u00f3sito y ayuda a reducir el exudado y el olor. Su absorci\u00f3n es vertical y semipermeable, evitando la maceraci\u00f3n de la piel circundante. La espuma est\u00e1 compuesta por pel\u00edcula de poliuretano semipermeable, espuma de poliuretano con tiras absorbentes hotmelt (3+\/-0,5mm), malla de acetato con DACC (Dialquilcabamoilo) con tecnolog\u00eda Sorbact\u00ae, y bordes adhesivos siliconados (420-460g\/m2) que permiten una adecuada fijaci\u00f3n sin producir trauma en la piel al retiro. La superficie de contacto con la herida es aglutinante bacteriana gracias al DACC, un \u00e1cido graso hidr\u00f3fobo que atrapa las bacterias. El ap\u00f3sito es libre de l\u00e1tex y su esterilizaci\u00f3n se realiza mediante \u00f3xido de etileno. Se recomienda almacenar bajo 25\u00baC y proteger de la luz solar directa. Est\u00e1 indicado para heridas contaminadas, colonizadas o con riesgo de colonizaci\u00f3n, con moderado a alto exudado, tales como heridas cr\u00f3nicas (\u00falceras venosas, arteriales, diab\u00e9ticas, por presi\u00f3n), heridas dehiscentes postoperatorias y heridas traumatol\u00f3gicas. No debe ser cortado ni usado con ung\u00fcentos o pomadas que puedan interferir con su acci\u00f3n hidr\u00f3foba antimicrobiana. La frecuencia de cambio depende de la herida y se debe cubrir dejando al menos 2 cm de distancia perilesional.
