Act\u00faa mediante una uni\u00f3n r\u00e1pida e irreversible entre DACC y microorganismos, inactiv\u00e1ndolos y reduciendo su replicaci\u00f3n sin destruirlos, lo que evita la liberaci\u00f3n de endotoxinas. Es efectivo contra bacterias gram positivas, gram negativas, hongos, biofilm y microorganismos resistentes como MRSA y VRE. No presenta efectos secundarios, citotoxicidad, riesgo de alergia ni desarrollo de resistencia bacteriana o mic\u00f3tica. Reduce el olor y el dolor en heridas infectadas. Se recomienda su uso en heridas contaminadas, colonizadas o infectadas, incluyendo heridas postoperatorias, traum\u00e1ticas, cr\u00f3nicas (\u00falceras venosas, arteriales, diab\u00e9ticas y por presi\u00f3n) y heridas con bajo nivel de exudado o secas. No debe usarse con ung\u00fcentos o cremas que interfieran con la uni\u00f3n al microorganismo. Se aconseja cambiar el ap\u00f3sito cada 1 a 3 d\u00edas y realizar inspecciones m\u00e1s frecuentes en caso de infecci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica. La esterilizaci\u00f3n se realiza mediante rayos gamma. El almacenamiento debe ser en lugar limpio, seco, protegido de luz y humedad. La composici\u00f3n incluye tull de acetato color verde impregnado con DACC y un hidrogel compuesto por agua purificada, carbomer 940, propilenglicol e hidr\u00f3xido de sodio. El producto cuenta con certificaciones ISO 13485 y CE, y procede de Alemania.
